First Day of First Grade...

We are behind in this posting. I am already over 2 months into first grade. It's been busy. I have lots of homework and that combined with taekwando (more on that soon), I am one pretty busy kid. Mom and Dad had parent teacher conference a couple weeks ago and I am on track and doing good. I read well above grade level which means I get to stay in my homeroom class with the advanced reading teacher.

I have a wonderful teacher who totally "gets" me and my unique creativity and ideas. She has a student teacher who is also wonderful. I just started my first research project which I will turn into a power point presentation later this month. My topic is"crocheting". Mom was quite surprised but it will be perfect to get my classmates excited for our first grade service project.

I very much enjoy school and recess continues to be a favorite part of the day. I also enjoy my friends. Plus, I often come home with facts and thoughts to share with the rest of the family.

Here are some photos followed by video. If you want to compare with last year, click here.
